বাংলাদেশের আয়তন ১ লক্ষ ৪৭ হাজার ৫৭০ বর্গ কিলোমিটার বা ৫৬ হাজার ৯৭৭ বর্গমাইল।

বাংলাদেশের উত্তরে ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মেঘালয় ও আসাম, পূর্বে আসাম ত্রিপুরা ও মিজোরাম, দক্ষিনে বঙ্গোপসাগর এবং পশ্চিমে ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ অবস্থিত।
